The ski and snowboard Superpipe is on the skier’s left side of Lower Warm Springs, below Race Arena. The u-shaped terrain feature is about 425 feet in length  with walls about 18 feet high, and will meet competition Super Pipe standards.

Four rails and a wall ride are located adjacent to the Superpipe - A 23-ft. C rail - a 35 ft. Flat box, a 10 ft. flat 15 ft down rail, and a 20 ft. Square rail. The wall ride is 8 ft. x 16 ft.

Sun Valley also has purchased  a Zaugg Pipe Monster, state of the art grooming equipment, to maintain the new terrain feature. As one of the world’s best ski mountains, with its consistent and continuous pitch, Baldy will now provide an even more varied ski experience for skiers and snowboarders than ever before.

The Sun Valley Ski and Snowboard School will utilize the terrain to heighten the skill level of their freestyle snowboard and skiing students.
