RESERVATIONS
Advance reservations are recommended for all Sun Valley SnowSports School private lessons throughout the winter season. Advanced reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED during the December holiday and Presidents' Day week where both private and group lessons often fill up three weeks in advance. The holiday periods for the 2008-2009 are as follows: December 19, 2008 to January 4, 2009 and February 14-22, 2009. Please understand we may sell out at anytime.
To pre-register now, fill out the registration form and fax it to us at 208-622-2238. Pre-registration forms must be received more than 48 hours in advance; otherwise, you can register in person at either Dollar Mountain Lodge or River Run Lodge at the SnowSports School desks on the day of the lesson. Enrollment will be on a space available basis, and we do not guarantee the ability to accommodate late reservation requests. Snow Sports reservation/sales agents will be available to assist you from 8:30am to 3:30pm daily at River Run or Dollar Lodge.
Please note that faxing a pre-registration for is not a guarantee of a reservation. All lesson reservations are subject to availability and may sell out at any time. When you book a reservation for a private lesson, you will be asked to give us a credit card number to reserve a space. We will not charge your lesson until you arrive at the SnowSports School Dollar Lodge or River Run Lodge Desk, and, at that time, you may choose any method of payment. We also require a liability waiver form to be signed at the SnowSports desk prior to your first lesson of the season. If you don’t show up at the SnowSports desk to pay in person prior to your reserved private lesson appointment, you give us permission to charge the credit card you provided us with for 100% of the cost of your reserved lesson according to these Private Lesson Reservation/Cancellation/Refund Policies.
Cancellations / Changes / Refunds
Cancellations or rescheduling for private lessons must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of your reserved lesson and between the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm by calling the SnowSports School at 622-2289 or by visiting the SnowSports School desk at Dollar Lodge or River Run Lodge. For new reservations or rescheduling, please understand that we may sell out at anytime.
Because we have reserved a space for you with a specialized instructor to match your specific ability level, changes and cancellations not made at a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start of your lesson are non-refundable and the credit card you provided us with to reserve your space will be charged for 100% cost of your reserved private lesson appointment scheduled for that day. We will also charge your credit card for “no shows”. Subsequent reservations on following days will be cancelled and not charged.
We also do not offer refunds, cancellations, or changes to tickets already purchased. Only in the case of a verified injury or illness are we able to make an exception to our cancellation/refund policy. Due to the nature of our business, weather, snow conditions, and late arrivals are not viable reasons for cancellations and refunds.

MULTIPLE DAY LESSON TICKETS: We offer discounted prices for purchasing multiple day group lessons. If you chose to take advantage of this discount, you must choose the days you will be attending in advance. Canceling or changing the days to attend class after the tickets are purchased is not allowed. Refunds will not be processed for multiple day products or any unused days. If you are unsure of the number of days or the specific days you will attend class, please purchase single day lesson tickets.
CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES / REFUNDS: If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations and changes to a reservation can be made by calling the SnowSports School at 622-2289 or by visiting the SnowSports School desk at Dollar Lodge or River Run Lodge. We do not offer refunds, cancellations, or changes for tickets already purchased. Only in the case of a verified injury or illness are we able to process a refund. Due to the nature of our business, weather and snow conditions or late arrivals are not viable reasons for refunds. Lessons products are not transferable to another person, date or program.
