The second annual Sun Valley Gathering will showcase talent from near and far. This festival of music and film celebrates the mountain lifestyle, those who live it, and the talent and creativity of the filmmakers representing it.

Judging Criteria

• Mountain action in a compelling, positive, entertaining and/or intriguing way - regardless of movie location
• Content must be consistent with the rules of the Responsibility Code and Smart Style freestyle terrain code (if applicable).
• "Family edit" as the film festival is open to everyone.
• Quality of finished piece – video, post-production, audio quality, use of music.
• Creative aspects and approach to the project.
• Story telling.
• Overall impression.
• Must upload movie to YouTube or Vimeo and submit a DVD for playback during the Thursday Viewing

 

Prizes

• Winner receives a 20 Day Pass plus other finalist prizes.
• Top 3 finalists receive a 3-day lodging and lift package.
• Top 10 finalists receive a custom swag prize bag
• Any of the Top Ten finalists will be eligible for the "NSAA Video Prize" to be submitted to NSAA for previewing at the annual NSAA Conference in May. Any submissions selected to be shown by NSAA will receive a Winter Season Special Edition Prize from Sun Valley Resort
