Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed the spectacular 18-Hole Trail Creek championship course - a must for the serious golfer, boasting 6,968 yards and breathtaking views all around. This course is the perfect complement to Sun Valley's new Nine- Hole White Clouds Course. This alpine links-styled course is 3,600 yards long and provides spectacular 360-degree views of the Wood River Valley.
The lofty links overlook the new 58,000 sq. ft. Sun Valley Club which is open to the public and includes a restaurant, bar, wrap-around terraces for deck side dining and cocktails, a pro shop, locker rooms, club storage and club rental. The Sun Valley Club overlooks a new 25-acre practice facility and the very popular 18-hole Sawtooth Putting Course.
The Elkhorn Golf Club was re-designed in 2005 and is now under Sun Valley Resort ownership and management. Sun Valley Resort guests will enjoy this long, (7,214-yard) course which beautifully compliments play on Sun Valley's Trail Creek Course and the White Clouds.
The Elkhorn Course is a long drive in yardage only - from Sun Valley Village and was co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior. It is a mix of valley holes which traverse the foothills and offer panoramic views of the Elkhorn area. The course also sports a 16,000-square-foot clubhouse which includes a large dining room with multiple flatscreen televisions as well as a shaded outside dining area.
