Goals
  • • Share an enjoyable skiing experience with a supportive group of new friends and women instructors.
  • • Develop ways to deal with fear and build self-confidence… Improve personal skiing with the help of positive instructor feedback.

  • • To create a fun educated empowering environment sharing a true passion for not only the sport of skiing but all of the surrounding aspects the ski world has to offer.
February Workshop
  • • Ski with our guest coach Carol Levine, past National Alpine Team member for the Professional Ski Instructors of America, PSIA examiner and trainer. Carol was the original organizer of the National PSIA Women’s Seminars. Years ago she developed Sun Valley Ski School’s first women’s program and followed with a period of time in the Vail/Beaver Creek Snowsports School creating their women’s program, also becoming its School Training Manager and developing Focused Learning, an innovative ski immersion program. Now enjoying a little masters racing on the side, Carol works for the Snowsports School at Squaw Valley. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to meet and ski with Carol!.

  • Introductions and Q&A.
  • Announce groups.
  • Day 1/Focus–Let's get Balanced! Carol meets and skis with groups.
  • 8:30–9am breakfast and coffee,explain daily agenda.
  • 9:15–10:15am set a group goal, group check with "informal" video on upper and lower College
  • 10:15am–12pm ski with coaches
  • 12-1pm Lunch
  • 1-3:30pm ski with coaches
  • 3:30pm meet at river run for potential announcements and check in on daily adventures
  • Day 2/Focus–Terrain day. Let's Challenge ourselves! Steeps, bumps, off piste, gates.
  • 8:00-8:30 optional inside coaching with Carol discussing equipment.
  • 8:30-9:00 breakfast, group up, daily announcements, answer questions.
  • 9am–12pm ski with coaches changing up the comfortable.
  • 12-1pm Lunch
  • 1–3:30pm ski with coaches
  • 3:30–4pm regroup, share challenges endured, any announcements
  • Day 3/Focus–Mileage, muscle memory and fine tuning. Video day.
  • 8–8:30am inside coaching with Carol. Muscle memory, anatomy issues.
  • 8:30–9am breakfast, daily announcements, explain video protocol.
  • 9am–12pm ski, ski, ski, with coaches and video.
  • 12–1pm Lunch
  • 1–3pm ski ski ski with coaches and video
  • 3pm Après cheese and chocolate party. Awards, video before and after, share accomplishments.
