Learning Quickly One on One
Without a doubt, one-on-one instruction is the fastest way to improve your skills and lead you quickly to the next level! Your private instructor, who becomes a new-found friend before you realize it, will lead you quickly to higher achievement. All levels of skiers and snowboarders can benefit from the years of experience from some of the most highly skilled and professional instructors in the country.
Dollar vs Baldy: Pick a Mountain, Any Mountain
We offer private lessons on both Dollar and Bald Mountain for ages 3 and up. We suggest beginners and low intermediates (Levels 1-4) skiers and snowboarders start at Dollar Mountain. Dollar offers gentle, treeless terrain and provides the beginner to intermediate skier with the perfect environment to learn. We suggest intermediate to expert (levels 5-9) skiers and snowboarders take a lesson at Bald Mountain, which offers more challenging and diverse terrain.
You can have a group of up to 4 additional family members or friends join your private lesson for no additional charge. You'll experience the best time if your group likes to ski or board on similar terrain and with closely matching speed.

Tiny Tracks or Parent & Child
Specialized private instruction is available for children ages 3-4. Tiny Tracks and Parent & Child private lessons offer your child a positive experience with skiing that will start them on the right track to becoming a lifelong skier. Lessons are one hour in length and are available on Dollar Mountain only from 9 -10 am, 12-1pm, or 3-4 pm.
Private Freeride and Freestyle Instruction
An experience designed to give you the techniques and skills necessary to ride our Superpipe and Terrain Park! Our highly skilled instructors can start you on the path towards big air and give you the essential tools for safetly performing a variety of tricks.

Reservations
Advance reservations are recommended for all Sun Valley SnowSports School private lessons throughout the winter season. Advanced reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED during the December holiday and Presidents' Day week where both private and group lessons often fill up three weeks in advance. The holiday periods for the 2009-2010 are as follows: December 19, 2009 to January 3, 2010 and February 13-21, 2010. Enrollment will be on a space available basis, and we do not guarantee the ability to accommodate late reservation requests.

Cancellations / Changes / Refunds
Sun Valley SnowSports School schedules your private lesson with a specialized instructor to match your specific abilities and interests. Private lesson reservations may be modified or cancelled at no penalty up to 72 hours before the start of your lesson. Changes and cancellations made 72 to 24 hours before the start of your lesson are subject to a $100 administration fee. Changes and cancellations made within 24 hours of the start of your lesson are non-refundable and your credit card will be charged 100% the cost of the reserved lesson.
