Lift Operating Hours
Sun Valley Resort is excited to extend weekend gondola rides for hiking and sightseeing and Roundhouse Restaurant dining on Saturdays and Sundays through September 26th.
The Roundhouse Gondola and the Roundhouse Restaurant will reopen for the weekend on Saturday, September 11th at 9:00am, with gondola rides and lunch at the Roundhouse Restaurant.
Special Messages
Currently, all trails are open for hiking, mountain biking and sightseeing.
The Roundhouse Gondola will operate on Saturdays and Sundays through September 26th beginning at 9:00am, with the last roundtrip ride at 4:00pm and the last ride down from the Roundhouse at 4:30pm. There will be no lift assisted mountain biking or lift access to the top of the Bald Mountain.
The Roundhouse Restaurant will reopen for the weekend Saturday September 11th. They will be featuring a sit-down lunch from 11:00am to 3:00pm with snacks and drinks available from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
The Ticket Office at the River Run Plaza will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 4pm for ticket and pass sales. During the week, passes can be purchased in the Sun Valley Village at the Recreation Office. Don’t forget to purchase your 75th Season Passes early and take advantage of the savings.

White Clouds hiking and biking trails are open! These trails are an excellent option for beginning to intermediate mountain bikers, families with small children or anyone who wants to enjoy mountain biking on the trails without the technical difficulty. White Clouds has some of the best views, including a breathtaking panoramic, in the valley!
