Sun+ Pass Info

Q:  I have purchased a Sun Plus Season pass. How do I take advantage of the added benefits? 
A:  To receive your discount for Sun Valley village restaurants and Sun Valley retail locations you must show your Sun Plus pass at the time of purchase. Discount applies to passholder only. 

Friends and Family Discount: 50% Off 4 One-day Adult Lift Tickets

• Pass holder must be present and have pass at the time of purchase
• Not valid during peak season (dates 12/24/10 - 1/2/11 and 2/19/11 - 2/27/11)
• tickets are not for resale and misuse will result in the loss of season pass

6 Days of Skiing at Snowbasin Resort:

• Valid any 6 days of the 2010/11 ski season at Snowbasin Resort
• Direct to lift access
• Must have Sun Plus pass card to redeem

Winter Passes FAQ

Q: When is the best time to purchase my pass?
A: Winter passes are on sale at the lowest price thru August 2nd. This is the best time to purchase passes and get the very best value for your dollar. After that, you can still get a good deal on reduced pricing through November 19.

Q:  I have purchased my pass, how can I pick up my pass?

• New pass holders and those who purchase over the phone must come to the River Run pass office to have a photograph taken and sign a Release of Liability Agreement.
• College pass holders are required to provide college documentation.
• Renewing pass holders that have successfully purchased online can begin using their pass as soon as we begin operations.

Q:  Are there any restrictions on the 20 day pass?
A:  No the 20 day pass is good for 20 days of skiing any 20 days you want.  However, all passes are non transferable and unused days are nonrefundable. 

Q:  If I use all 20 of my days can I get a discount on tickets for more days?
A: Yes, If you have used all 20 of your days you may purchase a five pack of days at a discounted rate one time.

Q:  Can I upgrade my 20 day pass to a full season pass during the season? What will the cost be?
A:  Yes, you may upgrade your 20 day pass to a full season pass at any time during the season.  The cost will reflect the pricing for the Season pass at the time of the upgrade, not the cost at the time of original purchase.

Q:  Can I combine my 20 day pass with any other passes?
A:  Your 20 day pass can be combined with an early/late season pass and a Dollar season pass only.

Q:  Can I purchase two 20 day passes for myself?
A:  No you can only buy one 20 day pass, and only one 5 day upgrade

Q: How do I qualify for the College 6 pack?
A:  You must provide proof of fulltime status (12 undergraduate credits or using the criteria established by the specific learning institution) in an accredited college or university. Students will be required to present proof of credits, paid tuition and valid photo identification in order to pick up pass.

Resort Card

The Sun Valley Resort Card is the all-in-one card for all of your Sun Valley Resort activities. Gone are the days when you need a specific pass for each individual Sun Valley recreational resort activity. The Sun Valley Resort Card is your virtual wallet for all of them! Pick up your Resort Card at any Sun Valley Resort pass office location. Use the card year after year to add various recreational passes and activities to your account. 

With the Resort Card there is no need to wait in line for yearly ski photo passes. Since your Resort Card is valid year after year, it can hold different products based on your individual needs. For example, one year you may have a winter season pass attached to your Resort Card and the following year a winter discount card, summer lift pass along with a golf pass. Starting now, use your Resort Card to make pass purchases or pass renewals in the Sun Valley Online Store.

Resort Charge

Add Resort Charge to your Resort Card and get pay-as-you-go convenience by tying your credit card to your account. Make purchases resort wide at Sun Valley Resort’s retail, restaurant and recreational activity locations* and leave your wallet at home!

Stored Value

Adding Stored Value allows for the same convenience as Resort Charge. However, Stored Value allows a dollar amount to be loaded into your account and subsequently debited off as you make resort wide purchases at Sun Valley Resort’s retail, restaurant and recreational activity locations*. You can continually reload your Stored Value balance at any time.
