(Dining) Around Sun Valley in Seven Days
It’s Tuesday, so it must be the perfect time to save on a ladies lunch at the Sun Valley Club! Now, through the end of the season, Sun Valley is offering seven days of specials to enjoy. As if winter 2016 – 17 wasn’t amazing enough – it just keeps getting better.
After you’ve worked up an appetite in this winter wonderland (another huge storm just came through bringing a few more feet of pow to the mountains), treat yourself and explore some of Sun Valley’s world-class cuisine.
On Monday nights, do something you normally might not do on a Monday night and head to the Duchin Lounge at the Sun Valley Lodge to indulge in tapas treats. From 3 p.m. to close, relax into one of the deep, comfortable couches, gather your friends, and catch up over Italian-inspired tapas as you people watch, sip a hand-crafted cocktail and enjoy the beautiful room.

On Tuesday, of course, ladies, grab your girlfriends and head over the Sun Valley Club. There, you will all enjoy 20 percent off entrees that run from the light and healthy to savory and comfort food. Before you indulge, be sure to rent some cross country gear, snowshoes, or a fat bike at the Nordic Center and explore some of the endless kilometers of perfectly groomed trails that begin and end at the Center. You might even want to take a lesson in classic or skate skiing. Then tuck into Chef Wendy Little’s chicken potpie or Cajun salmon sandwich. You earned it!
