March puts the ‘sun’ in Sun Valley as days grow suddenly longer and brighter, the snow on the mountains begins to turn to corn, and the party at River Run, Roundhouse, and Warm Springs moves outside. Think bluebird skies, lots of live music, the sun on your face, and nothing to do but play all day. Lucky for so many that spring break falls smack in the middle of this munificent month. This year, the pleasures of a family spring break in Sun Valley are even more palatable with a Kids Ski Free special in March. Yes, you read that...
The Spa at Sun Valley is buzzing with anticipation as the professional staff eagerly await the arrival of three new premiere product lines sure to make the beautiful people in this beautiful valley even more, well, beautiful.
“Starting in early June, we will be offering what is truly the best-of-the-best in skin care and hair care for our guests,” said Spa Director Tiffany Cameron. “We can’t wait to see the response when people see what these products can do.”
Be sure to make an appointment at the Spa at Sun Valley to indulge in some truly luxurious and best-of-the-best new product lines. Spring is all about renewal!
The first new line that will grace the treatment rooms of Sun Valley’s skilled aestheticians is from Circadia, a clinical skincare company created by the famous Dr. Pugliese. One of the most exciting products in this line is an anti-aging peel. “This is the deepest peel that you can get outside of a medical spa,” Tiffany said. “It will give you the deepest of deep cleans.” Interested guests will first book an appointment with an aesthetician for a skin consultation and then be advised of the best course of action to achieve the desired results. “In addition to the peel, Circadia also offers products that can be used in conjunction with the Hydrafacial device during a facial,” Tiffany said. “The results are fantastic.”
Also from Circadia, and sure to be a huge hit, is a body slimming wrap. This service involves an exfoliating scrub with a blueberry bamboo blend followed by the application of a special gel to the lower body, arms or other ‘problem areas.’ The guest is then be wrapped in something like Saran wrap and blankets while the gel penetrates and does its magic. According to Tiffany, this service has lasting results and really smoothes out the skin (just in time for bathing suits and shorts weather!). Included in the service is gel to take home to make the results last.
The Circadia product line is clinical grade and will visibly improve skin that enjoys every day of our mountain lifestyle – but may be a little worse for the wear!
Spa clients will also soon be able to indulge with one of the most luxurious and high-end skin care lines in the world: Carita Paris. “With this line, you don’t just order it,” Tiffany laughed, “Carita has to first approve your property, then you may carry it. It’s very exclusive and is the best of the best. It is proven in the skincare industry for unbelievable results.”
Assistant Spa Director Nate Smuin also emphasized how special Carita is. “Not only is the packaging stunning, but there are actual crushed diamonds in one line, crushed gold in another. It doesn’t get any more luxurious or effective than this.”
Adding these lines to the popular Naturopathica products offered by the Spa provides a wide range of choices for guests. “With these additions, we will be able to treat all skin types and conditions,” Tiffany explained, “and guests will be able to purchase products in a price range to suit every need.”
The ultra luxurious Carita line from Paris is making its way to Sun Valley! Prepare for the finest in skin care; indulge while getting amazing results.
If your locks need some love, another very high end line will soon be offered at the Salon. Exclusive L’Oreal Profiber products improve the health of every strand of hair by fortifying and strengthening. This is an in-salon service using salon strength products that is done while your hair is being blown dry. “There is an actual App with a questionnaire that guests will fill out. Based on their responses and after the technician assesses any visible issues, the correct masque will be applied and left on for about five minutes, followed by a serum. It doesn’t take any extra time and the results need to be seen to be believed,” Tiffany explained. The Spa will also sell take-home products in this line that continue to strengthen the hair following a treatment.
And Mother’s Day is right around the corner on May 8. If you are looking for the perfect treat for that perfect mother, look no further. The Spa is offering a 90-minute package comprised of a 30-minute body soak, a 30-minute massage, a 30-minute facial and a special gift for mom (a darling necklace from Mae Mae) for only $195 (plus tax and tip). With this, mom can make a whole day of it at the Spa, luxuriating in the steam room and sauna, dunking in the outdoor pool, even enjoying a workout at the fitness center. This is something she will love, especially if you don’t ask her what’s for dinner when she gets home.
Come in, indulge, refresh, renew! The Spa at Sun Valley awaits.
