Set against the stunning backdrop of Bald Mountain at River Run Lodge, Concert for a Cure returns for an unforgettable evening of music and meaning. The Music of Prince featuring former members of The New Power Generation (NPG) delivers the iconic sound and electric spirit of Prince’s original live performances—including hits like “1999,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Purple Rain,” and “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

Led by longtime NPG members who performed with Prince for over two decades, this group brings authenticity, reverence, and funk to every moment of the show—joined by lead singer, MacKenzie, known for his soulful and charismatic stage presence and powerful vocals.

Following their reunion for the 2016 Official Prince Tribute Concert in Minnesota, the band has brought this tribute around the country, honoring Prince’s legacy with precision, soul, and the same vibrant arrangements they once played with the man himself.

This benefit concert is the capstone event of the Killebrew-Thompson Memorial, a threeday celebration raising critical funds for cancer research and patient care. In its 49th year, KTM has proudly donated over $24.5 million to its beneficiaries at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute and the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota.

• All guests must abide by the direction of Sun Valley staff and Security while attending this event and that failure to do so will result in removal from the event. Additionally, any disrespect or aggression towards Sun Valley staff or Security will be grounds for removal.
• This event includes open, general admission seating on the lawn. For the Lawn tickets, there are no chairs or reserved seats available. Blankets and/or foldable lowback chairs are allowed. No high-back chairs are allowed. Premium Reserved Seating can be purchased for this event which includes a reserved chair.
• There is no early entry to the lawn to put down blankets or chairs, or to reserve a specific area. Any items that are in the lawn before the doors open will be removed by security. No entry until the gates open.
• The lawn may need to be evacuated in the event of severe weather including lightning storms. River Run staff will continuously monitor weather and will inform guests if the lawn needs to be evacuated. Guests should have a plan in place to return to their vehicle and seek shelter if needed.
• Tickets will not be refunded in the event that the lawn does not open as a result of weather.
• There is no outside food or alcohol allowed at this event. Bags will be inspected at the door.
• Pets are not allowed at this event. Attendees with pets will be denied entry.
• This event is an environment that might be louder than some guests are comfortable with. River  Run staff will be actively monitoring volume levels to ensure they stay within industry standard operating levels. Ear plugs are provided by the venue and can be picked up at the front entrance if needed.
• All sales are final and no refunds will be given, even in the event that the lawn needs to be evacuated or the show needs to be cancelled due to severe weather.
• There is no overnight parking/camping at River Run parking lots.
• All tickets are non-transferable, unless the transfer has been made using Showpass before the event begins.
