More Lodging

The Sun Valley Inn opened its doors in 1937 and is still where to stay if you're looking for a welcoming and stylish place to lay your head. Now boasting a full convention center, the Inn has gracious European-inspired dècor with the finest fabrics, carpeting and wall coverings. Guests can head to the Ram restaurant for a gourmet bite and sip on a cocktail in the lounge, while the Village Station offers family-friendly food and fun. An exercise room adjoins the outdoor pool.

The Sun Valley Inn has been remodeled!

Historic Ski Lodge, Modern Amenities, & Classic Mountain Hospitality

Join us at the newly-remodeled Sun Valley Inn this winter! While the exterior of this historic structure is reminiscent of an Austrian ski chalet, the rooms, convention spaces, and restaurants have been given a modern update. For the last two years, The Ram, The Ram Bar, Village Station (formerly Bald Mountain Pizza), meeting rooms, and 97 guest rooms of the Sun Valley Inn have been redesigned, restored, and in some cases, completely remodeled (now available to book!). A new archway has also been constructed, opening up a pedestrian thoroughfare similar to the one that existed in the original 1937 Challenger Inn.

Sun Valley Inn - remodeled room

Compared to the grandeur of the iconic Sun Valley Lodge, the Inn offers a more modest and tranquil, yet forever timeless, lodging experience in the heart of the Sun Valley Village. With the same charming and old-world character that originally inspired its construction in 1937, the Inn is now complete with its own steaming outdoor pool, fitness center, restaurants, lobby bar, and friendly staff.

Spring Break in Sun Valley

0

Vacation in the mountains By Kitt Doucette
Where are we going for Spring Break this year? It’s a great question to ask and an even better one to answer.
Sure, there are the traditional options like Hawaii and Mexico, but consider this;
Do they have days on end of crystal clear, piercing blue, Idaho mountain skies?
Can you ride corn snow so soft and smooth that it often gets compared to butter?
What about soak in a hot pool at a historic lodge and sip on a cold local beer with beautiful snow covered peaks all around?
...
