Season passes can be picked up at the ticket windows at any of our mountain base areas, as well as at the Recreation Office, located in the Sun Valley Resort Village (across from Konditorei). Sun & Snow pass holders get three days of skiing/riding at Sun Valley and three days of skiing/riding at Snowbasin Resort in Utah (no blackout dates at either resort). Sun & Snow pass holders also receive 50% off single-day lift tickets (ticket window rate) at each resort after the pass holder has skied/ridden three days. Sun & Snow pass holders also have the option to purchase single-day lift tickets at 50% off the ticket window rate at each resort from opening day through 12/12/21 before using their pass's allotted three days at each resort.
No. The 15 Day Plus Pass is valid for 15 days of skiing/riding (no blackout dates) plus 50% off single-day lift tickets (ticket window rate) after the pass holder has skied/ridden 15 days. Unused days are NON-REFUNDABLE and CANNOT BE ROLLED OVER to the next season.
Yes, you may upgrade a limited pass to a full season pass at any time during the season. The cost will reflect the pricing for the full season pass product you wish to purchase at the time of the upgrade (not the cost at the time of original purchase). You must be a full-time college student between the ages of 18 and 29 and must provide proof of full-time student status (enrolled in a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits) at an accredited college or university. Students will be required to present a valid student ID, proof of current enrollment, and a government-issued photo ID in order to pick up their College Pass. Questions? For the 2020-2021 season, the Early/Late pass is valid from opening day through 12/13/20 and from 3/19/21 through closing day. For the 2021-2022 season, the Early/Late Pass is valid from opening day through 12/12/21 and from 3/18/22 through closing day.
Children four and under ski free at Sun Valley when accompanied by a paying adult, but they still need to have a pass or a lift ticket with them. Simply stop by one of our base area ticket windows to pick up a free pass for your child or call (888) 490-5950 for more info.

Yes, Sun Valley offers discounted lift tickets for active duty and retired military members and their qualifying spouses and dependents (18 years of age and younger). Active duty military members are eligible for 50% off the daily adult lift ticket rate, and retired military members and veterans are eligible for a 30% discount off the daily lift ticket rate. These tickets must be purchased in-person at a Sun Valley ticket window and a military ID must be presented at the time of purchase.

Although our 15 Day Plus Pass and Sun & Snow Pass are fantastic values for those who do not need a full season pass, Sun Valley offers a variety of lift ticket options to meet your needs if you decide that our season pass options are not right for you. Q: Can I use my Epic Pass at Sun Valley?
A: Many Epic Pass products allow pass holders to ski and ride at Sun Valley. Read below to learn more about our relationship with Epic Pass and how many days you are able to ski or ride at Sun Valley with your pass.
Epic Pass: Epic pass holders will receive seven days of skiing or riding (with no blackout dates) at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin Resorts and 50% off of one-day window lift ticket prices after their allotted days have been redeemed.
Epic Local Pass: Epic Local pass holders will receive two days of skiing or snowboarding with blackout dates at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin Resorts and 50% off of one-day window lift ticket prices after their allotted days have been redeemed.
Epic Day Pass: Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass, and Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at Sun Valley or Snowbasin as part of their total days purchased. After the purchased days are used, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders are eligible for 50% off additional single-day lift tickets (at window rate) at Sun Valley or Snowbasin.
For Epic Day Pass products with holiday restrictions, the following blackout dates apply at Sun Valley and Snowbasin: 11/27/20-11/28/20, 12/26/20-12/31/20, 1/16/21, 2/13/21-2/14/21.
Epic 1-Day Pass, Epic 2-Day Pass, and Epic 3-Day Pass holders will not receive access to Sun Valley or Snowbasin as part of their pass.
