It’s a crisp and cold Tuesday. Excellent snowmaking conditions for the next several days. With pre-season trail construction underway, we request that the public respect the closed status of the mountains while grooming and snowmaking operations are underway. To protect the public from potential hazards that may exist from time to time before the opening of the ski season, the ski area is authorized, with USFS pre-approval, to close areas subject to those potential hazards and to post closed signs at uphill access points.
Due to safety concerns for pets and their owners starting November 11, 2020, through April 30, 2021 dogs are not allowed on Bald Mountain.
Allowing snowmakers and groomers unimpeded access ensures safety for all and improves their ability to “build the mountain” in preparation for opening. Thank you for your understanding.
Overnight total reflects the amount of snow that fell between 4pm and 5:30 am *24 hour total reflects the amount of snow that fell between 5:30 am yesterday and 5:30 am today. Base and Top totals are a combination of natural and man-made snow. Snow Stake is cleared daily at 4 pm.
It’s a crisp and cold Tuesday at Dollar Mountain. Mother nature and Sun Valley Snowmakers are making Dollar white and laying down a great surface for projected opening on December 12th. We are making the safest and most comfortable ski and ride experience for all and excited about the upcoming season.
