At the heart of Sun Valley Lodge, you’ll find delicious all-day dining at Gretchen’s. This Sun Valley staple was named in honor of Gretchen Fraser, who was not only the first American to win an Olympic Gold Medal in skiing, but was also a pillar in the Sun Valley community, supporting the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, the Wood River Trail System, and the Nature Conservancy of Idaho for many years. 

Gretchen’s offers three fresh and modern menus. Start your day of adventure with a hearty breakfast, from eggs benedict to veggie hash, or a lite morning bite, including avocado toast or steel-cut oats. Stop in for a midday refresh, with shareables like poke nachos or chips and guacamole or keep it classic with a selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Or, settle in for dinner, with stunning centerpiece dishes, like the Chef’s Cut and Fresh Catch special.
