Sun Valley’s legendary Western heritage is no better experienced than with a visit to the fabled Sun Valley Stables and Western Horseman’s Center.  Trail rides and wagon experiences are fun for the entire family, from the beginner to experienced rider.  Private and group events are available.

Sun Valley Stables also provides western horsemanship lessons and training programs for children and adults from beginner to intermediate-level riders.  Age and size minimums apply. Please check with us for schedules and availability.

Daily Trail Ride Times: 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, 4 pm

Through September 3 by reservation.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled ride or lesson.

All rides are subject to weather conditions. For trail rides, children must be at least 8 years old and 52" tall, and accompanied by an adult. 250 pounds is the upper weight limit.

As Fall approaches, we look for ways to squeeze every last drop of summer out of these long languid days of August. The Sun Valley Music Festival, running semi-nightly this month, is the perfect way to make the sun-kissed memories you’ll think back to when wintertime rolls around again. The days may be getting shorter, but it never feels that way atop a blanket on the grass with the sound of strings drifting up toward the mountain peaks, and pink sky going on for miles.
