The World's Best Ski Racers Are Coming Back to Sun Valley: Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals Set for March 18–25, 2027

Grandstand and VIP packages now on sale for the Stifel Sun Valley Finals, the world-class course challenging athletes across four disciplines

Sun Valley, ID (October 6, 2026) – The Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals are officially returning to Bald Mountain, March 18–25, 2027, and Sun Valley Resort is ready to welcome back the world's best ski racers. The season-culminating Stifel Sun Valley Finals presented by Cloudflare will once again crown the sport's top athletes on Sun Valley's epic slopes, marking the second time the resort has hosted the event following the widely praised inaugural Finals in March 2025. Grandstand and VIP packages are now on sale for fans looking to secure their spot for race week.

"Two years ago we made history by bringing World Cup skiing back to Sun Valley after a 48 year absence, and the entire community rallied in a big way to support the athletes, the bib draws, the races and everything in between. In considering whether we should host the event again, the answer was easy - absolutely! Sun Valley is the heart of skiing and ski racing, not just in America, but globally, and our genuine passion and caring for our guests and community are key to the success of the event, and who we are at our core," said Pete Sonntag, Chief Operating Officer at Sun Valley Resort.

"Sun Valley hosted a world class event in 2025 with the inaugural Stifel Sun Valley Finals and we couldn't be more excited to return,” said Sophie Goldschmidt, president and CEO of U.S. Ski & Snowboard. "Events like World Cup Finals is a great way to further grow ski racing in the U.S. and puts our sport's best athletes in front of home-town fans, inspiring the next generation and showcasing what U.S. venues can deliver. Thank you to Sun Valley Resort, the community and our partners for making it possible.”

"Sun Valley delivered everything you want from a World Cup Finals: strong racing, a great atmosphere, and a local team that showed real motivation and professionalism in welcoming the World Cup tour in 2025. We're very pleased to be returning. It's a venue the athletes enjoyed, and we're confident it will once again provide a fitting stage to close out the season,” Markus Waldner, FIS Chief Race Director, Alpine Men.
