The Nordic Center is open for the season! The Nordic Center is open from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Discover some of the best cross-country skiing in America, with unmatched trail quality, training programs, clinics, rentals and a state-of-the-art clubhouse for skiers of all levels. With over 40 km of trails groomed daily for skate and classic skiing, the Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center provides a head-clearing experience. Our trail system maintains consistent conditions without leaving you gasping for air. Ski and snowshoe equipment for all ages is available for rent.

If you hadn't planned on cross country skiing or snowshoeing during your visit, one stop at the new and spectacular Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center may change your mind. Renting your equipment is a snap. A pristine and meticulously groomed network of trails awaits taking you across diamond-studded snow fields, along Trail Creek and on to Trail Creek Cabin. Skate Ski with TBD: Hills and Corners and Speed. Develop confidence and maintain momentum throughout the skiing cycle |
| Saturday’s (Jan 9, 16, 23, 30) | Intro to Classic Skiing with Pam Street. Get started with all you need to know to be able to confidently ski on your own and with friends. |
| Sunday’s (Jan 10, 17, 24, 31) | Intro to Skate Skiing with Kelly Allison. Join this group to learn the basics of skate skiing. You’ll be cruising the trails in no time. |
All classes meet on the snow for at 10am sharp. Lesson lasts 90 minutes and is limited to 6 participants. Cost is $140 and includes the trail pass for the day.
