Bald Mountain Uphill Policy - During the Season & During Operating Hours (9:00am and 4:00pm)

Uphill travel by the way of foot, snowshoes, trax, or skis is not allowed between the Hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Notes from our Mountain folks

Bald Mountain has received a great early season snowfall and very good snowmaking temperatures continue to allow us to improve the conditions and open additional runs.  

The River Run Lodge will be open for breakfast and lunch, and Lookout Restaurant will be open for a snack or a hot chocolate.

Dollar Mountain News

Dollar Mountain has received a great early season snowfall and it looks like great snowmaking temperatures ahead for the upcoming weekend!  The 2015-2016 Sun Valley winter season preparations got off to a very good start.  Both Bald Mountain, top-to-bottom, and Dollar Mountain, top-to-bottom are open.

There’s nothing quite like the first day of ski season. It’s like a combination of the first day of school and Christmas morning—except there’s isn’t any homework afterwards and it takes a lot longer than one day to unwrap all the gifts of another season on the slopes.
