    The partnership will provide Sun Valley skiers/riders holding a Full Season or Sun Plus pass automatic free privileges at Sugar Bowl Resort in Northern California.

    Sun Valley Nordic season pass holders will receive free skiing at Royal Gorge Cross Country. Sun Valley skiers/riders may present their season pass at the Village Lodge or Judah Lodge at the ski area to receive a reciprocal pass.

    The reciprocal program is effective all season long with no blackout dates. Discounted lodging rates at the Lodge at Sugar Bowl will be available to Sun Valley skiers/riders on a space available basis subject to blackouts and/or restrictions.

     

    Winter Passes FAQ

    Q: I have purchased my pass, how can I pick up my pass?
    A: New pass holders and those who purchase over the phone must come to the River Run pass office to have a photograph taken and sign a Release of Liability Agreement.

    College pass holders are required to provide college documentation.

    Renewing pass holders that have successfully purchased Online can begin using their pass as soon as we begin operations.

    Q: Are there any restrictions on the 15 day pass?
    A:
    15 days of skiing/riding plus a $69 discount rate on any additional days no black outs. All passes are non-transferable and unused days are nonrefundable.

    Q: Can I upgrade a limited pass to a full season pass during the season? What will the cost be?
    A:
    Yes, you may upgrade a limited pass to a full season pass at any time during the season. The cost will reflect the pricing for the Season pass at the time of the upgrade, not the cost at the time of original purchase.

    Q: How do I qualify for the College Season Pass?
    A:
    You must provide proof of full-time status (12 undergraduate credits or using the criteria established by the specific learning institution) in an accredited college or university. Students will be required to present proof of credits, paid tuition and valid photo identification in order to pick up the pass.

    Q: What are the dates the Early/Late pass is valid?
    A:
    Opening day through December 18th, 2015 and March 21th, 2016 until the end of the season.

    Q: Does Sun Valley offer a Military pass.
    A:
    Yes, Sun Valley offers a pass for active duty Military and their qualifying dependents. (spouse and dependents 18 years and younger) This pass gives you 50% off the daily adult lift ticket rate. Must show Military ID.

    Q: Does Sun Valley have other products for the less frequent-visitor?
    A:
    Yes. If you decide a season pass is not right for you, Sun Valley offers other discounted ticket options periodically throughout the season.     Q: What if my pass is lost or stolen?
    A:
    Please contact the Sun Valley season pass office at (888) 490-5950 in the case your pass is lost or stolen. We can inactivate the lost pass and let you know how to get a replacement.

    Q: Can someone else use my season pass?
    A:
    No. It is clearly stated all season passes are NON-TRANSFERABLE, meaning the season pass product can only be used by the designated individual from the date of purchase.

    Sun Plus Season Pass

    Consider buying this product if: you ski/ride more than 30 times and can utilize any of the plus benefits; unlimited skiing/riding at Snowbasin in Utah, $169 Hotel Rate at Grand America Hotel or $99 Hotel Rate at Little America Hotel, Salt Lake City, (on a space available basis), 6 friends and family 50% off tickets for Sun Valley (no black outs), and receive 50% off 1-day in-resort rate lift tickets at every other Mountain Collective resort.
    Than this is the product for you.

    Adult Season Pass

    Consider buying this product if: You ski/ride more than 30 days and will not use any of the Sun Plus benefits, than this is the product for you.

    Flex Plus Pass

    Consider buying this product if: you have one or two days a week and are here all season, with unlimited early and late season and one day a week during regular season with a discount rate on additional days during regular season, then this is the best product for you.

    Young Adult Season Pass

    Consider buying this product if: You are 29 or under and you typically ski/ride at least 10 times during regular season, than this unlimited product is best for you.

    Early/Late Season Pass

    Consider buying this product if: You primarily ski/ride in the early and late season only. There are 44 possible days to ski/ride for just $359.

    The Mountain Collective™ Pass

    The daily discount card has been replaced with The Mountain Collective™ Pass.

    Includes 2 Days of skiing/riding at each destination (not each mountain - 16 days total) during the 2015-16 winter season. Passholders at each Mountain Collective™ resort can receive 50% off 1-day in-resort adult/child rate lift tickets at any other Mountain Collective™ resort. Discounted lift tickets are for the passholder only and are nontransferable. There is no limit to the number of discounted tickets each passholder may purchase, but only 1 ticket may be purchased per day. There are no blackout dates.  Also, up to 25% off lodging at Mountain Collective™ Resorts. Mountain Destinations include:

    1. Alta/Snowbird

    Yes, if you purchase and pay in full one of the following eligible passes: Adult/Young Adult Sun Plus, Adult/Young Adult, and College Season passes.

    The Sun Valley Resort Card is the all-in-one card for all of your Sun Valley Resort activities. Gone are the days when you need a specific pass for each individual Sun Valley recreational resort activity. The Sun Valley Resort Card is your virtual wallet for all of them! Pick up your Resort Card at any Sun Valley Resort pass office location. Use the card year after year to add various recreational passes and activities to your account. 

    With the Resort Card there is no need to wait in line for yearly ski photo passes. Since your Resort Card is valid year after year, it can hold different products based on your individual needs. For example, one year you may have a winter season pass attached to your Resort Card and the following year a winter discount card, summer lift pass along with a golf pass.
