    Bald Mountain’s consistent pitch, lack of lift lines, and variety of terrain have earned it a reputation as one of the world’s finest ski mountains. Twelve chairlifts and over 65 varied runs await skiers and riders of all abilities. Adding to the Baldy adventure are themed Adventure Trails for kids, featuring over 30 acres of gladed skiing and riding.

    Dollar Mountain is the perfect place to get introduced to skiing and riding and features two modern high-speed quads, a full-featured terrain park, and the Wundercarpet, an effortless uphill transporter for kids.

    How do I purchase a lift ticket?

    You can purchase lift tickets online by clicking here. You may also purchase lift tickets at the ticket windows at our River Run and Warm Springs base areas; however, we encourage all guests to purchase lift tickets online to guarantee their spots on the mountain and to secure our best pricing.

    Can I purchase a lift ticket for multiple days?

    Yes, we are currently offering two-day, three-day, and four-day lift tickets for Bald Mountain and two-day lift tickets for Dollar Mountain. Two-day tickets are valid for two days of skiing or riding within a three-day window, beginning on the date you select when you purchase your ticket. Three-day tickets are valid for three days of skiing or riding within a five-day window, beginning on the date you select when you purchase your ticket. Four-day tickets are valid for four days of skiing or riding within a six-day window, beginning on the date you select when you purchase your ticket. 

    What is the difference between Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain?

    Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain are both owned and operated by Sun Valley Resort, however, they offer different experiences. Dollar Mountain is beginner-friendly and offers 4 lifts, 2 moving carpets, 21 trails, and teachable terrain. Bald Mountain offers over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain, 10 lifts, 1 gondola, over 100 trails, and more challenging terrain than Dollar Mountain. 

    If I purchase a Dollar Mountain ticket, can I use it at Bald Mountain?

    No, Dollar Mountain tickets can only be used at Dollar Mountain.

    If I purchase a two-day, three-day, or four-day lift ticket, do I have to use both/all the days consecutively?

    No, our multi-day lift tickets do not require that you ski or ride both/all the days consecutively. Two-day tickets are valid for two days of skiing or riding within a three-day window, beginning on the date you select when you purchase your ticket. Three-day tickets are valid for three days of skiing or riding within a five-day window, beginning on the date you select when you purchase your ticket. Four-day tickets are valid for four days of skiing or riding within a six-day window, beginning on the date you select when you purchase your ticket. Please note that unused days on multi-day tickets are not transferable to future dates.

    Are lift tickets included with SnowSports lessons and equipment rentals?

    Equipment rentals do not include lift tickets. Some SnowSports lessons include lift tickets and others do not - Click here or call (208) 622-2289 for more information.

    Does Sun Valley offer military discounts?

    Yes, Sun Valley offers discounted lift tickets for active duty and retired military members and their qualifying spouses and dependents (18 years of age and younger). Active duty military members are eligible for 50% off the daily adult lift ticket rate, and retired military members and veterans are eligible for a 30% discount off the daily lift ticket rate. These tickets must be purchased in-person at a Sun Valley ticket window and a military ID must be presented at the time of purchase.

    Does my Epic pass entitle me to a discount at the Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center?

    No, the Epic pass does not entitle the pass holder to a discount on Nordic or snowshoe passes.

    Are Bald Mountain or Dollar Mountain day passes valid at the Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center?

    No, Bald Mountain or Dollar Mountain day passes are not valid at the Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center?
