At Sun Valley, our Children's Lessons are designed to meet skiers and riders exactly where they are, whether they're stepping into boots for the very first time on Dollar Mountain or chasing new challenges on Baldy. Small group sizes and experienced instructors mean real progress on terrain that matches every stage. For families who want more individualized coaching or a full season of development, private lessons and season long programs are available as well.

Youth Adventure Camps

With age appropriate group lessons led by experienced instructors, kids gain more than just technique. They build confidence, learn responsibility, make friends, and discover how powerful, and how fun, the mountains can be.

Each Youth Adventure Camp provides small group instruction built around your child's age and ability. Beginners learn on the gentle slopes of Dollar Mountain, while intermediate and advanced skiers and riders take on the legendary runs of Bald Mountain, so every camper spends the day on terrain that matches their comfort level and ability.

Private Lessons

Private lessons at Sun Valley meet every child exactly where they are, whether that's a little one taking their very first turns or a confident young skier ready to push past their comfort zone on a tough new run. Every session is shaped entirely around your child, their pace, and their goals.
