Health & Safety

SnowSports Health & Safety

As always, the primary concern in Sun Valley SnowSports programming is for the safety and comfort of our guests and our staff. We will present our lesson experience as we have in the past with several significant adjustments in group lesson class sizes, meeting place management and the requirement for reservations and advanced purchase.

Given relatively close interaction with our guests, SnowSports staff will undergo self-health screenings before they arrive at work and additional checks as they enter the workplace. We are asking our guest participating in SnowSports programs to participate in a self-health screening as well, prior to the lesson. In addition, team members are specifically trained health and safety protocols.

Our traditional season-long programs have been tailored for low density so as to avoid crowding and minimal impact on our facilities. Staggered start times, additional operating days and stress on separation through smaller group sizes are key elements of our Children’s and Adult season-long programs.

Private lessons will be guided with particular attention to all aspects of healthy sport guidelines, at the resort and in the community. Our group lesson programs, adult and child, will be managed for very low density through small class sizes, minimal indoor activities and, again, attention to all aspects of healthy sport guidelines.

SnowSports will also stress participation in those experiences that are designed with families in mind and those that have traveled together or live together so as to minimize public contact. Programs such as the Family Private Experience and the Dollar Mountain Alpine au Pair children’s lessons are excellent examples of our commitment to families and their needs.
